What a cool example of making something old new again ….
This is a legitimate recording studio built from a grain silo, as part of an interactive public art program in 2007 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Lots of recycled & salvaged materials, the studio is partially powered by solar panels. Imagine the acoustics take some getting used to but the look is definitely great.
Call it recycling, repurposing, or whatever you wish…the idea of taking something old & putting it to new use is a brilliant one.
